Beautiful, sweet, petite Maya is a true gem. Poor Maya was dumped from a car near Orlando before joining our rescue. How can people do things like that? She was so scared and nervous when she joined the rescue but has come out of her shell. What a sweetheart!! She is petite, people friendly, walks well on leash, takes treats gently, affectionate, & knows basic commands. It’s estimated she’s around 5 years old. Our understanding is she’s dog friendly, but a meet and greet is always required. Poor thing is heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. She’s currently in boarding with our vet, but we would love for her to be in a forever or foster home as soon as possible.
