River was found as a stray with a major tail injury and went to Miami-Dade Animal Services.  She had her tail amputated at MDAS.  River was completely petrified being at MDAS so SHARE rescued her.

River is such a love.  River was so afraid when she came into rescue but she has really blossomed.  She seems to like all dogs.  

Unfortunately her tail got infected after surgery while staying at MDAS and she needed corrective surgery.  River is also heartworm positive and soon starts her treatment.
