Precious, petite Izzy has been patiently waiting for her forever or foster home in vet boarding. Izzy is a very sweet 18-month German Shepherd Dog/Belgian Malinois mix. She was surrendered to the rescue when her mom moved and couldn’t take all her dogs with her. Her world has been turned upside down. Understandably, she can be anxious & aloof when meeting new people but is very loving & affectionate once she gets to know you. She is intelligent, treat motivated & has learned “sit” but would benefit from additional training. Izzy lived with other dogs in her home, & we think she would do well in a home with medium sized dog with similar energy. (She was surrendered with Charlie, but our trainer advises that they can be separated). No cats for this cutie. Izzy needs a patient adopter experienced with GSDs and/or Belgian Malinois who is willing to continue her leash & crate training.
