Athena 0966 needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
LOCAL ADOPTER ONLY: NO EXCEPTIONS. Athena is a spayed 5 year old, owner surrender. Athena hasn't had the best life as far as we can tell, so she is very nervous. She has been adopted and returned to us several times because she just hasn't found the right person for her yet. She needs an adopter who has the patience to work with a nervous dog. She requires a calm home with at least a 6 ft. fenced in yard. She is dog friendly and does need a home with a canine sibling as it brings out the best in her. She does seem to do better with woman but that doesn't mean she can't live with a man who can give her time to trust and is willing to take it slow with her.
